Tender Opportunities

College Financial Services lies at the centre of the College’s procurement activity. It provides specialist support to all College Departments in all tasks relating to buying a wide range of goods and services using a variety of contractual arrangements. The College aims to continually improve and modernise the College’s procurement function, and is determined to deliver high quality services that will best meet the current and future needs of students and the community.

Procurement aims to provide value for money on goods and services bought and leased by College Departments. ‘Value for Money’ does not just mean the cheapest, but a balance between cost, quality and performance. We have a duty to provide these services. We act as the champion and co-ordinator for College purchasing and to promote standards of excellence in procurement of supplies, services and works which help deliver the College’s procurement strategy.

Current opportunities

Bournville College is implementing a new e-tendering system specifically for FE Colleges. The system will allow suppliers easier access to forthcoming tenders/contracts and quotations published by all FE Colleges that subscribe to this system.
