The Corporation of Bournville College, otherwise known as the governing body operates under the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 for the purpose of conducting the College. The College is an exempt charity for the purposes of the Charities Act 1993.

The Corporation consists of fifteen members.

The Corporation meets twice a term and also operates through a number of committees.

Further information on the membership of the Corporation, about any of its meetings or organisation, is obtainable during normal office hours from the Clerk to the Corporation.
