Career Events

The careers service plans and organises events to raise students’ awareness of opportunities available to them when they complete their course. These include:

• An annual Higher Education Fair. Universities attend for the day enabling students to find out further information about entrance requirements, course content, and student life
• Visits to local Recruitment and Employment events
• Employers, voluntary organisations and universities giving talks to groups of students and having information stands
• Visits to Higher Education Open Days
• Visits to specific conferences and events, e.g. ”Careers in Construction”, “NHS Jobs Fairs” and “HE Conventions”
