The Multi-faith Centre

The Multi-Faith Centre, known as the Globe, was established in 1999 for the use of students and staff. People are able to meet with others of the same religion for support and encouragement and there are opportunities to learn about other religions and join in their celebrations. Special times for prayer and meditation are timetabled.

The Globe is also a cultural centre where people can attend festivals celebrated by people from a wide variety of cultures and countries. Recent celebrations have included a Korean festival, Chinese New Year festival, Iranian festival and a Turkish festival. Food, music, dance and laughter are important features of the Globe.
