International summer school
We are excited to inform you about Bournville College’s 2012 English Language Summer School. This will take place at our brand new £66 million campus in Birmingham, UK, during the months of June, July and August this year. Study with students from around the world! Bournville College has a lively community of international students, from countries as diverse as Brazil, South Korea, Italy and the Netherlands.
The programme includes 12 hours of English Language tuition per week (3 hours per day, Monday-Thursday mornings):
1. 12 hours per week of English Language / 3 hours per day, Monday-Thursday mornings
2. One half-day trip per week (in the local area)
3. One full-day trip per week to another city (e.g. London, Cambridge, Oxford, Bath)
Our English Language Department has a great reputation with students from around the world.
Flexible options – three sessions:
1. June – Monday 11th to Friday 29th (3 weeks)
2. July – Monday 2nd to Friday 27th (4 weeks)
3. August – Monday 30th July to Friday 24th August (4 weeks)
Study one, two or all three sessions; more flexibility is possible.
Please note that the Summer School fee includes £30 per week for trips, to cover the cost of coach travel. Entry fees (where applicable) need to be paid separately.
Students can apply by completing our International Application Form – must be completed by hand, signed and scanned back by email to James Andrews.
We can arrange Homestay Accommodation for our students as well.
