A touring theatre production initiated by Aimhigher, promoting advantages of learning and undertaking qualifications, visited Bournville College last week.

The engaging production was presented by three actors from Impact Universal. The characters face a range of problems with their money, assignments, motivation to learn and part time work. As a result they, one-by-one, decide to leave college half way through their course. The show takes them to their future where they receive a reality check and realise that their prospects would have been better if they had only stayed on and completed their course. As a result, back in the present time, they decide to aim higher and continue with their studies despite the odds.
Jan Gane, Assistant Principal – 16-19 provision said: ‘The show was a success amongst students at Bournville College. It encouraged them to think about their future, beyond their current course.’
