Poultry Masterclass

Learn how to produce wonderfully tasting and eye catching poultry recipes. Demonstrations on basic butchery skills and as well as preparing whole bird ready for cooking will be included in this masterclass.

You will be able to produce a complete meal: supreme of chicken, confit leg, wild mushrooms and broad beans, pancetta arancini, butternut puree, and a rich jus sauce to complement the dish.

Masterclass is a 4 hour session on a Wednesday evening, 5.30-9.30pm. The session will take place in Urban Flavours Restaurant based at Bournville College.

Cost: £25 per person session.

Meat Master Class @ Urban Flavours

Learn how to produce wonderful tasting and
eye catching meat recipes, fully garnished and
ready to eat. Our experienced chef will provide
demonstrations on basic butchery skills
focusing on boning and tying shoulder of lamb
tunnel boned and tied ready for roasting.

You will then be able to produce a meal consisting
of a loin of lamb chop, fondant potato, and
cauliflower and mint purée, spring greens with a
rich guinness jus to compliment the dish.

Master class is a 4 hour session on a Wednesday
evening 17.30pm-21.30pm. The session will take
place in Urban Flavours Restaurant based
at Bounville College.

There will be two identical seminars delivered between:
• Seminar 1: 12 - 1pm
• Seminar 2: 1 - 2pm

Wines of Argentina - Wine Tasting

An introduction to wines of Argentina, the common grape varieties and key quality points to look for when purchasing wine.

This introductory session will look at 6 different wines; 3 whites and 3 reds.

Bite size menu of dishes to accompany selected wines will be served. Participants will have an opportunity to purchase sampled wines at the end of the session.

Attendants of this course must be aged 18 and over.
