The Trust and the apprentices themselves embraced the scheme very positively. We involved individual departmental managers from the beginning of the process to ensure that the right candidates were recruited for their departments. The apprentices have settled in their roles and have settled in their roles and have been incredibly enthusiastic to learn and gain work related experience.
More employers should take responsibility for the training and development of their existing or future workforce and with the right funding and training provider this can be easily achieved.
