IT Skills Workshop OCR ITQ Award is taught at our campus in Longbridge, Birmingham.
Students will be able to work at their own pace through three units of ITQ. For level 1 you will need 9 credits, but for Level 2 you will need 10 for an Award.
The units offered are:
- Database software
- Desktop publishing software
- Using email
- Using the Internet
- Presentation software
- Spreadsheet software
- Word processing software
A variety of methods and materials will be used, with an emphasis on practical experience in workshop activities, which are supported by manuals and materials specially prepared by the college.
Each unit is individually assessed and certified. Assessments are taken when the client has reached the required standard. The assessments are marked by the tutor and externally moderated by OCR.
