Beauty Short Course - Beauty for you is a one day course on Saturday 18 May 2013 for 6 hours
Start time: 9am
Introduction
This course will provide you with the skills to shape eye brows and perform a manicure. You will also be provided with a kit to take home containing the equipment required to perform these treatments. This course would suit people who are interested in the beauty industry as well as those that would like the skills to perform treatments on themselves as well as family and friends.
Beauty For You is taught at our Longbridge campus, based in Birmingham. Due to the location of the campus the college can boast great transport links with, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Stratford Upon Avon, Solihull and other surrounding areas.
Content
You will be taught the practical skills required in our state-of-the art Urban Serenity beauty salon by an experienced therapist. You will also receive some theory input relating to these treatments.
Teaching Methods
Demonstration, lecture and practical skills.
Assessment
There is no formal assessment on this course.
Qualification Gained
You will receive a Bournville College Certificate stating that you attended the course and demonstrated necessary skills.
Opportunities for Progression
This is a taster into the beauty industry that can lead to a full accredited qualification if you so wish.
