If you are thinking about learning a new skill, already in learning or planning to change jobs and need new skills, there is a personalised on-line service that can help you. This service is designed with you in mind and is tailored to give you greater choice and support as you enter and progress in learning and work.
By using your Skills Account you will have access to:
- Skills Diagnostic Tool – to help you recognise your strengths and areas for development
- Course Finder – to help you choose the right course and to choose how you continue in learning
- Funding for Learning – find out if you can get funding to support your learning
- Action Plan – develop a plan to review and update as you gain skills and move nearer to your goal
Skills Accounts are currently being trialled throughout England. To open a Skills Account or for more information, visit their website or call the Careers Advice Service on 0800 100 900.
