Catering and Hospitality industry is fast growing and provides many employment opportunities. Jobs can range from catering supervisors, chefs, waiting and bar staff, front office customer service and housekeeping.
At Bournville College we are very proud of our catering provision and have been awarded the FEAST (Food Excellence Skills and Training) Centre status, offering a wide range of training and support to all those involved in providing healthier school meals to local pupils. In addition, we have recently been awarded the Training Quality Standard kite mark, which recognises the hard work in delivering training and development which meets employers’ needs. In particular, the award acknowledges the College as one of the leading training providers in the country for hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism.
We offer a good range of courses delivered during the day and in the evening, as well as courses delivered in the workplace, to suit your needs. Practical sessions are delivered in our state-of-the-art kitchens and Terrace Restaurant.
