Access to Higher Education

It is never too late to study for a degree even if you have no qualifications at all. Many adults return to education after they realise that their opportunities will increase as a result. Access to University courses enable mature students with no qualifications to apply for a degree programme in only one year.

Access to University courses are amongst the most popular courses at Bournville College. The qualifications awarded are accepted for entry on to degree courses by the majority of UK universities and colleges.

We offer access courses in a range of subjects such as business, law, computing, health studies or social work, allowing individuals to progress to careers in related fields. These courses are offered on a full time basis over one academic year.
